“A hidden isolated world”, is the first thing most travellers have to say about Spiti. What else could one say about a world that was forbidden to visitors for about 30 years. A visit to Spiti Valley is like Time Travel. You get in a time machine and travel to a world and time unknown.

You will be shocked to know the effects that a lack of sleep causes on your body, especially when you are outdoors. It will deteriorate your health, lessen your stamina and blow up your mental and physical strength. Also, the amount of physical activity you will do on the next day will come shooting down as it all depends on the quality of sleep you have had the previous night. Why go through the pain of sleepless nights? Just turn sleepless nights into restful nights with a few sleeping tips up your sleeve.

You know the warnings they give you before you get yourself to do an adventure activity? “Be alert”, “This is a dangerous activity”, “Make sure your harness is clipped properly”, “Don’t panic underwater”, followed by many more wise words. We are amused thinking about what warning did these adventure activities/ marriage proposals bring with them. Maybe something like:

Warning: This adventure activity is intensely romantic. It may result in increased heart rate, creation of huge relationship goals and leave you with a fiancé.

“Uttarakhand’s Auli is India’s Switzerland”, said a travel catalogue placed on our office desk. Soon, our inner wanderlust sprang to life and the process of knowing everything about a place that is famed for its stunning landscapes and vistas began in full force.

You will be amazed to see what Danny MacAskill can do with a set of two wheels. If you know him, you know the level of skill, accuracy and control we are talking about. If you don’t know him, keep scrolling down to see a crazy exhibition of the most insane moves ever seen on a cycle.

We are grateful for the positive response our workshop based on ‘Responsible Outdoor Ethics’ received on all 3 days that it was held on. It was very important for us to take this initiative for multiple reasons.

The AdventureN 2017 Calendar Contest saw some remarkable photo entries and exceptional photography skills. We are over-whelmed with the kind of response we received on each category. It was more special because through this contest our hopes sprang to life; hope to see Adventure Sports flourish, hope to see more and more people participate in them.

Is walking on a frozen river on your bucket list yet? When we first heard about the Chadar Trek years and years ago we were amazed by the symphony of this frozen world – frozen river, frozen waterfalls, frozen caves! We wanted to know more about the ‘frozen’ Chadar.

Endurance is the price you pay for victory. Souvig Sarkar is a guy who has paid that price and reaped sweeter gains for it.
On March 7th 2016, Souvig set off on his KTM Duke 390 with a vision to measure the width of the country. After five gruelling days of riding from Tezu in Arunachal Pradesh to Koteshwar in Gujarat and covering 4,116 Kms, Souvig successfully completed his challenging biking feat. Not just that, he also ended up setting a new East-West Land speed Record for India by finishing his journey in a record breaking time of 107.15 hrs (The previous record being 115 hrs).

It’s true when they say, this world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page. And, it’s also true that travelling across the vibrant Indian State of Rajasthan, alone, feels like reading a classic novel. You may not know the plot, you may not expect how the plot unravels into a swirl of colour and culture, but one thing is for sure. You just won’t stop reading. This brings us to our Destination of the month, Pushkar, a sparkling jewel in the crown of Rajasthan.
